EDIT Recycling code for PS and PS-E This symbol (6) is an identification code for PS (Polystyrene) and PS-E (Expanded Polystyrene). PS is used for the production of CD-cases, plastic cutlery cheap brittle toys and more, PS-E for foamed polystyrene hot cups, foamed meat trays and protectice packaging.
The Resin Identification Code was published by the Society of the Plastics Industry in 1988.
